The Republic of Finland was a European country. It was overthrown by the Soviet Union during the Winter War and replaced by the Finnish Soviet Socialist Republic. During the Great Soviet War, the FSSR was invaded by Scandinavia, and the Republic was restored, before its annexation into the Commonwealth.
