Manuel Gutiérrez Mellado was a Spanish Aryanist partisan who fought alongside General Franco and FET y de las JONS. He was caught and imprisoned in 1937, where he was eventually convinced about the inevitable failure of the revolt. Following the defeat of General Franco, Mellado was released from prison, and he lived the rest of his life in private within a small village.
