The Battle of Samara was a battle that took place during the First Russian Civil War. It involved the Imperial Army, under the control of former Admiral turned Prime Minister Aleksandr Kolchak, attempting to take the city of Samara, currently the capital of the Russian SFSR. The battle ended in a heavy loss for the Imperial Army, including the death of Admiral Kolchak.
